The first family of Springfield. In spite of being a pretty typical middle-class family, many of the hyjinks revolve around them.

EDIT: Nailing Matt Groening's style was a lot tougher that I'd thought it would be. I thought experience would make it easier, but no. Homer and Marge came out better than Lisa and particularly Bart.

Oh, and the objects the family are holding reference the old Konami beat-em-up coin-op. Though it has very little to do with the show and is Turtles in Time in a Simpsons skin, it's at least really fun to play. Which is more than can be said for the console Simpsons games of the era.
